Sentry
Connect
Connect Sentry from the terminal. Pass --help for the flags Sentry accepts.
praxen integration connect --type sentryInstall the Praxen Inc. integration on your Sentry organization.
Connect Sentry through its OAuth integration so agents can query issues, errors, and alerts during investigations.
Setup
- Click Connect to start the Sentry installation flow.
- Choose the Sentry organization to install Praxen Inc. on.
- Review the requested access and accept the installation.
- You are returned to Praxen Inc. and the integration is ready.
Connecting adds a Send a notification via Praxen Inc. action to every alert, including alerts you create later, so alerts land in Praxen Inc. and get triaged as they fire.
What agents can do
- Query issues and search error events
- Inspect the latest events and issue details
- Check alert statuses and investigate incidents
Disconnecting
Remove the Praxen Inc. integration from your Sentry organization under Settings → Integrations, or disconnect it from Praxen Inc. Disconnecting removes the Praxen Inc. action from your alerts, so drop it from Terraform configs at the same time.
Register Sentry alerts to Praxen Inc. alongside your Terraform-managed resources.
An hourly sync adds the Praxen Inc. notification action to every alert, so a Terraform-managed alert shows drift until the action is in its Terraform config too. After the first sync, read one alert with GET /api/0/organizations/{organization_slug}/workflows/{workflow_id}/ on the Sentry API. Copy the action of type webhook that Sentry shows as Send a notification via Praxen Inc. into each action filter of your Terraform-managed alerts.
Disconnecting the integration removes the Praxen Inc. action from your alerts, so drop it from Terraform configs at the same time.
Disconnect
Disconnecting stops every sync and check and deletes the credentials Praxen Inc. held. Praxen Inc. removes what Sentry's API lets it remove. The following stays until you remove it yourself:
- Sentry app installation and tokens
praxen integration disconnect <id>Tools
